Queen Alia International Airport Welcomes 8.9 Million Passengers
Jordan's main gateway records strong traffic performance with over 8.9 million passengers by November 2025, reflecting growing tourism demand.

Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has recorded strong traffic performance in 2025, welcoming over 8.9 million passengers through November, according to Airport International Group.
The figures represent a significant increase compared to the same period last year, reflecting Jordan's growing appeal as a tourism destination and the success of efforts to enhance air connectivity.
The airport, which serves as Jordan's primary international gateway, has seen increased traffic from key markets including Europe, Asia, and the Americas. This growth aligns with the 14.7% rise in overall tourist arrivals to Jordan during the same period.
Airport officials attributed the strong performance to expanded route network with new destinations, increased flight frequencies on popular routes, enhanced passenger facilities and services, and strategic partnerships with international carriers.
The airport continues to play a crucial role in supporting Jordan's tourism sector and economic growth objectives.
